CV of Prof. Yokoyama

Ryuichi Yokoyama received the degrees of B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo Japan, in 1968, 1970 and 1974, respectively. After being engaged in Mitsubishi Research Institute, from 1978 through 2006, he worked in the Faculty of Technology of Tokyo Metropolitan University, and since 2007, he has been a professor at the Graduate School of Environment and Energy Engineering in Waseda University, Japan. His fields of interest include planning, operation and optimization of large-sale environment and energy systems and applications of advanced mathematical approaches to energy systems and markets. Prof. Yokoyama is a Fellow of IEEE/USA, a senior member of the IEE/Japan and members of IID of Japan and CIGRE, etc.

Prof. Yokoyama has been involved in various committees conducted by Japanese governmental organizations as a chairperson and a member. In 2009, he received the Achievement Award from the Institute of Electrical Engineering of Japan for his long-term contributions to power and energy engineering field.

CV of Dr. Yicheng Zhou

Dr. Zhou received his B.S. degree and M.S. degree from Hunan University in China, and received Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Metropolitan University in 1995, in Japan. At present, he works in Tepco Systems Corporation, as a manager. His research interests include Generation & Transmission Expansion Planning, Power Economics and Electricity market, Optimization Application in Power Systems and Real Option and its Application in Power System. Hi is a Senior Member of IEEE, Member of CIGRE, IEEJ (The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan) , JAROS(The Japan Association of Real Options and Strategy), and is a visiting researcher in Waseda University.
